This woman is an amazing author. I read her first book (Tithe, go buy it) and then stumbled upon her journal. It's been interesting to go back and read her thoughts on being a writer and what she's working on now. I talked Jackie into ordering her new books. With a limited budget that's a big deal. She also has a lot of good advice for first time writers, and a lot of resources and references to check out. Very nice of her actually. So this is my push for a new author. She's one of the lucky ones that got published and actually deserves to be published, unlike quite a few authors I could name. Also she's rumored to be coming to Atlanta on a book tour on May 7th or 8th, but I have yet to find out where.
