Spanish and a bit of Harry Potter

We just got email telling us that the library will start having spanish classes for employees. How excited am I? Oh very very excited. I sent back saying sign me up. They will start in September and run for ten weeks, two mornings a week from 8 to 10. That's early but I could do it. Evan better is it counts as time at work. If I came in a 8 I'd get off at 4:30 on those days. So basically I'd be getting paid to learn Spanish, which is something I've wanted to do for some time now. I hope I get to do it.
In other work related news. My library is sending me to Nimbus 2003!!! Yes!!! For those of you not in the know, Nimbus is the big Harry Potter convention they are having. Yes I am a nerd, but I'm a smart nerd. I got it to relate to my job so now I'm going for free. Heeheehee. There is a thriving online Harry Potter fandom and I can't wait to meet some of these people. Hopefully Jen will be able to come with me. That would make it even more fun. I want a coffee mug with H/D on it and a car sticker...just to proclaim my inner slasher. Those of you who know will understand, for those of you who don't it's better that I just don't tell you. You are better off not knowing. Hey Jen and Alyssa Armchair had stuff for sale at cafepress but I'm not sure if they still do. Must go work is busy.
