What's That You Say? I Suck? If You Say So.

Finally. Now that I can actually add an entry I've forgotten what it was I was going to say. Oh yes something along the lines of....This has been the best work day ever!!!!!!
Yes it has. I work in the children's department of a library. We have very few perks. Well today I got to indulge in one of the perks we get. That perk would be that I held in my hot little hands a book that the world has been waiting for for three years. Yes I did. Now our director has signed all sorts of agreements that none of the books will leave the building and technically I don't know if I'm even supposed to have read it. But I did! Heeheehee. I won't spoil it for those of you who have to wait until midnight tomorrow to get your first taste. That would be mean. I will merely say that it is FANTASTIC! I have satisfied my initial craving I can now wait until I pick my book up tomorrow night. I read during my entire dinner break, so I'm now 45 minutes into Harry's newest adventure.
I will admit that I am currently wrapped up the the same giddy yet anxious feelings of most of fandom. What if she kills Draco? (I will wibble for days) How will this affect current fics? Will people keep writing? I'm sure everything will be fine but I can wibble if I want to.
In other news...who am I kidding there is no other news There's a new bloody Harry Potter book!!!!!! There was talk about sneaking one home or just locking ourselves in the store manager's office and reading all night, but the store manager and I decided that we dont' want to read it all tonight. We want to be part of that excitement tomorrow night. Now tomorrow night I'll be up until I pass out. I will read for as long as possible. It's killing me right now that I have no one to discuss it with. My friends have threatened me with bodily harm if I say one word..other than "it's great!" And while they have threatened things like that before...this time I belive them.
I must go now. I'm playing around with possibly getting a new template. Although every time I go to fool around with that I get the wait screen. Almost enough to convince me to get a gold membership. If only I had the spare money.
