Rambeling Nonsense From a Bored Mind

26 June 2003-8:37 p.m.

I'm bored. It's slow tonight. Not many people in here, nobody that needs help. I'm also hungry. This being near the very end of the month and this month having certain financial problems I would rather not go into, I ate rice today. Yep. Rice for lunch and then rice again for dinner. When I get home I'm breaking out the ravioli I just remembered I have. Yay! Food. Thankfully we get paid tomorrow. And then I will pay some bills that need desperately to be paid and count up how much money I have after that. This I will horde selfishly because at the end of this month comes Nimbus and I would like to have enough money so that I can buy food and drink. That at least is my plan. You know getting paid once a month sucks.

Went last night and played tennis with Alyjack last night. It was quite fun. I'm a beginner, so I really have no idea what I'm doing. We got into a pick-up doubles game with a brother and sister who were on the court next to us. We had a good time. I have now learned that I don't like net play. I suppose that's an important thing to know about one's self. We are going to meet them again next Wednesday. We must practice before them because I want to beat them next time. Me competitive? No.

Quote of the day: "Writing a novel is like making love, but it's also like having a tooth pulled. Pleasure and pain. Sometimes it's like making love while having a tooth pulled." -Dean Koontz

From my website bonanza find tonight. Dean Koontz. May I just say that I love this man's sense of humor? Yes yes I do. Check out the world of Christopher Snow. Someday there will be a third book, and I will be almost as excited about it as I was about new Harry Potter. That's saying something folks. Just go look at the site, read his interviews, and biography and everything else because it's damn funny.
