Naked!Ewan, Pretty Women, and Sleep.

You would be amazed at how good I feel today. Last night I got off work and decided that instead of rushing dinner and flying off to the theatre to watch the show yet again, I just wouldn't go. I stayed home, ordered a free pizza, and watched the end of the Georgia/LSU game (which we won't talk about) and read a book. It was fantastic. J. wasn't home and it was quiet. I actually finished a book. Heavens! After that I watched the Braves.
Around ten or so jumperkid called and said she would be at my house in two minutes. Which was fine with me. We watched the end of Miss America. We got to see the best part, the questions. *rolls eyes* We were very disappointed in this years crop. I also discovered that I know lots of "smart" trivia I didn't even need to see the choices to tell you which book has spent 63 weeks on the best seller list (The Lovley Bones) and yet I had no idea what "bling-bling" means in rap vernacular. Apparently it means jewelry.
After the winner was announced (Miss Florida) she had a little fit. It was the highlight of my evening. She kept bobbing up and down and the last Miss is trying to get the crown on her head and I really thought she came alfully close to just shoving Miss Florida down and holding her there as she pinned the crown on. Heehee
After that we flipped channels for a bit. we watched an episode of Coupling, andthen lighted upon Velvet Goldmine. Neither of us had seen it and it had already started so we had no clue what was going on. It didn't matter. I have the feeling that this is a movie that had we seen all of it, it still wouldn't make a lot of sense. BUT it had Ewan and Jonathon and they are very pretty, and they kiss. We have also heard that it has naked!Ewan but since it was on Bravo all the good parts are fuzzed out. It was late though and our poor tired brians could only take so much of the movie, so we never did get to see naked!ewan fuzzed out or not. We decided we would rent the movie because that way even if it makes no sense then we can see the naked!Ewan.
I was about to go to bed when I realized that I have spanish homework to do. Blargh. I forgot what it's like to have homework. Homework and a full time job sucks.
